To see the most current team speculation on all the possible trade-able players and some comments updated regularly, go to The Rumor Chart. Players are added and adjusted throughout the days as to what percentages I feel are their most likely destinations based on the hundreds of phone calls, emails, texts, IMs and telegrams I receive.

With less than 24 hours to go we are entering a the calm before the storm zone, but according to some great sources tonight is shaping up to be potential wild.

There are some teams to look for...

The Rangers...
The Rangers are talking to several teams and would love to add via trade instead of free agency. The Rangers are interested in Nash, Bobby Ryan and Keith Yandle. There is also word the Rangers could attempt to make a deal to get the rights to Shane Doan.

The Stars...
Dallas is also interested in trading for Shane Doan's rights...

The Panthers...
Word is Luongo is a growing possibility but Florida still refusing to part with a major player. Best I have heard is Scottie Upshall and Jose Theodore (who would be included in any deal for Luongo)

The Flyers...
Now that Biron is a Ranger the Flyers are looking at Chris Mason. Personally I believe Mason is a fit for the Flyers. He has a great composure, has shown an ability to perform on the spot and in playoff games.

The Hawks...
The Hawks will be in on Brodeur, but are also interested in Dan Ellis should that not work out.

On the Predators...
The Preds are looking at both Mason and Ellis for their backup role..as well as Clemmenson

On Brodeur...

This is NOT a negotiating tactic by Brodeur. The guy is way too classy and way too close to Lamoriello for that. I believe this has been coming for a long time...Hindsight is 20/20, but I remember the playoffs and talking to Marty after games and he was very sentimental about it all. On one hand he made it clear he wasn't retiring, on the other hand he also kept saying how much fun he was having enjoy "one last run with these guys." It is my belief Lou probably talked to him at some point during the season and said where the team was at financially and to prepare for this possibility...

NOTE:

So I am captaining a team in the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation Tournament this afternoon..At 3pm I will be in goal against a team with TV star David Boreanaz. Then I will be playing either in the Championship Game or the Consolation game. Admission is free, but donations are for the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation that gets inner city kids in the Philly area playing ice hockey. It's a great cause. There are four teams in the tourney. the other three captains are Sarah Baicker from CSN, Dustin Leed of The Fourth Period and Dave Isaac of the Courier Post. Make sure you are saying Hi...

I will be doing some streaming from the festivities below>
