Quick hits with another update this afternoon prior to 3pm on the Chicago situation.

Talking to sources all day trying to get to the bottom of the Hawks rumors.

I was rather surprised to hear two players being talked about in the rumor mill today...

Fernando Pisani. Edmonton's own. Obviously, he is not being traded while he is hurt, but you would be surprised at the interest teams have moving forward. Today I heard rumors of three different teams from three different sources. I am hearing that the Islanders, Sabres, and Rangers all have interest. Pisani is often injured and makes quite a good chunk of change, but why would Edmonton be moving him now? I know he is a pending UFA....

Ponikarovsky> Hearing that the LA Kings have expressed interest. Looking into this as we speak.

I will be back in about 90 minutes hopefully with Hawks news I hear is coming. And it is pretty interesting. I also will be looking at team USA and team Canada as we sit right now...
