Some quick hits this morning. I will be back after 1pm with my larger update.

*The Kings are very interested in Tim Gleason. It is a great fit.

* A Horton trade could come today..look to Buffalo or Boston.

* There are definitely some discussions that have occurred between the Flyers and Bruins regarding Tim Thomas. The price would be high, but likely a cap fix for both sides. Thomas would be a great fit for the Flyers in my opinion.

* The Predators high ups met 3 hours yesterday regarding their draft and UFA's. I am told there may be a BIG surprise in store for the Preds. A player who I can't yet name. But one I would LOVE to see in Nashville.

* Finally, for the record, I reported "looking into Spezza to Columbus rumors" last night. I was not the SOURCE of these rumors as some are assuming (who don't pay any attention.) I simply did research to see if there was anything to them. And I came back saying that a deal had NOT been completed. I never mentioned any players from Columbus. The Spezza to Columbus rumors have died down..."for now," but don't be surprised if we don't hear them rekindled in LA by some in the mainstream media who found them ridiculous last night.
Although I still say the Oilers, Sharks, and Kings are in on this. As they have been the entire time

Back shortly.
