Thanks for your well wishes. Ek's wife here. He wanted me to thank you all for the kind well wishes. He is in pain but well cared for in the hospital. He is on antibiotics so they can fight the infections. Due to fear of operating with infection, the doctors are trying to hold off to wait to remove his appendix in the morning. Thanks again and I will update after surgery.

Talking to sources today, and as we have all said all along this is the key....WHERE DOES GABORIK WANT TO PLAY. Talking to a source yesterday he is convinced that Gaborik wants to play in LA.

However the Kings don't have the players to get this done I am told
