The Avalanche are taking full advantage of the strong start and from what I am hearing. Sakic has managed to get a few teams to pony up a little more in a possible Duchene swap.

The Canadiens, Islanders, Rangers and Sabres are all rumored to be discussing a swap. The Rangers are the latest to get into the fray...They were very interested back at the draft, and their slow start has gotten them to make some calls.

One once interested team has apparently moved completely away from trying to acquire Duchene...I can't blame them. The Jackets have a great thing going now and there really is no need to make any changes at this time...although some I talk to believe they COULD get into this.

There is no rumor chart this time of year, so I will do my speculative percentage chances below..These are only my opinion, based on many conversations...no wagering...
