Here is what I am looking into..

Rumors from sources..

* the leafs and ducks are talking a deal that involves Kaberle...but he is not the best player in the deal. I am hearing Kaberle and Kulemin for Cory Perry..and there is another part I can't yet go with..

* the candiens are talking to the Panthers about Stephen Weiss. What a great fit that would be.

*the flyers are looking into Nabokov, but the Bruins deal for Thomas is also being discussed and could include a defensman from the Bruins coming to Philly as well.

* the Rangers are interested in versteeg and have also made early morning inquiries about Spezza.

* the Blues are very interested in Weiss as well, and have been quietly putting together what may turn out to be the best deal yet for Spezza.

* there are people out there saying the Spezza for Reghr and Langkow trade rumour got very close yesterday afternoon...and that there was one "technical" aspect which could be revisited today.

* the Canucks are the latest team looking into Gonchar's rights.

* the predators are also talking to Boston regarding a deal.

* kovalchuk's rights will be in big time play today.
