Short one today, but a couple tidbits I've picked up.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012
- Jacob Trouba met with 10 teams on his first day.
- Stefan Matteau had 9 team interviews on his first day and 26 in total. A lot of interest for a guy who will be available in the late 1st round/early 2nd round.
- More on Matteau: He met with Montreal early this morning.
- Alex Galchenyuk was asked if he preferred the NHL or KHL. Can’t make that sort of thing up.
- Galchenyuk will also be meeting with Montreal on Thursday, before he does his physical testing on Friday morning.
- Everyone is walking around in suits, and then there is Nail Yakupov… in a Hawaiian shirt and sandals.

- See above- Igor Larioanov, Yakupov, Galchenyuk, and Nicolas Kerdiles. From the looks of it, Galchenyuk isn't nearly as tall as some say.
- Ryan Murray has 17 interviews in total over the week; 9 on his first day (today).
- Pure speculation/hearsay: Columbus really likes Filip Forsberg and is their likely/possible target at 2nd Overall.
- Griffin Reinhart has had his equipment sent out from Edmonton to three NHL teams facilities, where he’ll skate for some more testing following the Combine. The Leafs have been doing this for a couple years – inviting a group of 50-60 players back to the Mastercard Center to get a better look. Buffalo did this last year for the first time as well, if I remember correctly.
