Jets vs Vegas....
The Knights won 2 of the 3 games these teams met, however the Jets did manage to put 7 past the Knights in their one victory..
* I feel as though the Jets playing Nashville was about as good of a warm up team as you could hope for if you are about to take on this Vegas Monster.
* This difference with Winnipeg over the Kings or Sharks is the Jets can score in more ways and are loaded with sharp shooters...which is hugely important when it comes to beating Fleury..The Jets take shots from further out...that is also the key to beating MAF. The Kings and Sharks tried crashing the net and got nowhere...
* That said, the Sharks were way better defensively than Winnipeg is, so Vegas will get a lot more free reign to the net.
* These are two pretty similar teams in that they both are opportunistic and thrive on riding waves of momentum...
* The pick up of Paul Stastny at the deadline is starting to look like the deal of the century and reminds me of the Isles grabbing Butch Goring back in the day.
* The Jets are a better all around team, but as Vegas has shown us time and time again....who cares?
What happens...
I must be insane, but I feel Winnipeg just beat the best team in Nashville....This is where the road ends for the Knights...and Canada is going to get really close to bringing the Cup back home...

Get ready for this one...I can't get into too much detail just yet, because of how I found this, but out am told the Habs are trying to land a legit #1 center from a Central Division team...and they are willing to give up A LOT...including a player I thought was untouchable...more to come tonight or tomorrow...
