The NHL is holding a moment of silence before all 15 games on Saturday in honor of the tragic events involving the Humboldt Broncos.

The Broncos (members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League) were on their way to a playoff game against Nipawin on Friday when their bus was struck by a tractor trailer. 15 people were killed in the tragedy and another 13 were injured in the crash.

We at Hockeybuzz offer our most sincere condolences to the families and friends of the Broncos. This is a tragedy that in a very short time has touched the entire hockey world. Numerous NHL players and clubs are making donations via GoFundMe to raise money for the players and families affected.
