Hamonic for Trouba Momentum Grows. Flyers buyers/sellers hangs in balance?

I continue to hear that there is momentum and steam behind a deal between the Islanders and Jets which would send Hamonic and a prospect/pick to Winnipeg for Trouba. A source confirmed that both teams are in need on moving on and both players are almost expecting the deal.

On the Flyers...

The Flyers may not officially be sellers or buyers yet, but by the end of next week all will come very much into focus. In that period of time the Flyers will play Toronto, Carolina, Minnesota, and Arizona. Their next three games are Calgary, Edmonton and Columbus. The Flyers sit 5 points out of a playoff spot, but have 2 games in hand on the two teams between them and the final playoff spot.

All that being said, I am told Hextall and the management of the Flyers are more focused on the future and not on making the playoffs this season...

So the deadline plan may not be affected even if the Flyers find themselves in a playoff spot 8 days from now.

More to come..
