*Two sources are telling me this morning that the Oilers and Leafs are talking again and Edmonton is trying hard to get Jake Gardiner.

*Another source confirmed to me that the Islanders and Leafs have interest in Oilers winger David Perron.

*The Capitals are believed to be talking to Edmonton as well.

*Meanwhile the Flyers and Vancouver have had some discussions the past few days I am told, but it is unclear who was mentioned, except to say it sounded like the teams were more looking down the line and getting a feel for each other regarding a contingency type of trade.

*The Canadiens are still talking to Anaheim, and now Arizona, regarding a possible upgrade on defense.

*It appears Paul Stastny will return tonight for the the surging Blues....who a few weeks ago everyone was saying looked lost....not so much now at 8-3-1.
