I am a huge Jaden Schwartz fan, and while I still see the RFA likely signing in St. Louis, there is definitely no shortage of teams who are looking at the Blues negotiations with the RFA with an ear to the wall.

Schwartz is a dynamic player who brings a ton of speed along with grit. He sort of reminds me of Daymond Langkow in his prime in some ways, but also has a slippery way about him on the ice that reminds me of Paul Kariya.

So far, my sources have said Calgary, Vancouver, Buffalo and NJ are among the teams watching this situation closely.

By the way... Vancouver is a team to watch closely over the next week or so. There are just too many people telling me the Canucks are mulling over some potentially bigger deals...one source called one of them "A true shocker if they can pull it off." While he wouldn't confirm any names I have heard there is talk between Winnipeg and Vancouver around Evander Kane...
