The Tampa Bay Lightning have announced that forward Steven Stamkos is not medically cleared to play and thus he will not be able to participate in the 2014 Olympic games in Sochi.

Team doctors state that the broken tibia that Stamkos suffered in Boston in mid-November is not completely healed.

Mike Cammalleri, Callahan, Hemsky, Gagner, and Briere have been updated on Eklund's Trade Rumor Chart

on Cammallleri...

Hearing Calgary is trying to sign Mike, but there is interest out of LA, Phoenix, New Jersey and Columbus. Not as much interest as some might be saying, but interest.

on Callahan...

The Sharks and the St. Louis Blues are the two teams most interested although I'm hearing he could re-sign with the Rangers as early as tomorrow.

On Hemsky...

The Red Wings and Penguins are the most aggressive. However keep an eye out for the Flyers, they have defense the Oilers like.

On Gagner...

The Lightning and the Kings are the two teams most after Gagner.... Leafs and Sens also have interest. The Sens are definitely the longshot.

On Briere...

Danny has a great deal of value going into the playoffs...Teams know this and there is already significant interest...the Penguins being the latest team I have heard connected to Briere.
