A few quick hits with some potential for a very turbulent weekend ahead...look to Montreal, Phoenix, the Islanders, Sabres and St. Louis....start here

* The Penguins are getting ready to gear up and are looking to add one more young gun to their roster. They are currently looking at a deal to acquire Matt Moulson...the Predators and Devils are also interested in Matt. This will get very interesting.

* You can add the Sabres to the Del Zotto sweep, but they also are looking to add some experience up front...or possibly swap experience...forward for forward. Ott could be sent.

* The Martin Brodeur sweeps could get very intriguing very soon.. I am hearing the Penguins and Blackhawks both with serious interest should Brodeur become available. The Capitals are also looking into possibly bring Marty in for the playoff run.

* The Canadiens are in need of some changes and I would not be shocked at all to see a move by the end of the weekend.

more to come.
