Injury Update

The Oilers had a solid off-ice workout today, pumping the iron as it were.

A couple notes from today:

- Ladislav Smid is 'very close' to returning to the lineup. He's possible for tomorrow night's game.

- Daniel Tjarnqvist isn't close to returning. MacTavish says it's 'probably a longer term thing for him' and he'll be re-evaluated by the medical team today.

- Steve Staios has been 'nursing an injury for a long period of time now' and he was scheduled to sit out last night regardless. The flu was just a coincidence. The fact that the team is winning means they are less inclined to rush him back...his presence in the lineup will be a game-to-game decision.
