Stars captain Brenden Morrow is out indefinitely after successful wrist surgery to repair severed tendons in his right wrist. He underwent surgery at a Chicago hospital Tuesday night and returned to Dallas Wednesday.

Morrow was stepped on with a skate in Tuesday's 2-1 loss against the Blackhawks.

The Stars have recalled right wing Chris Conner from Iowa.
