A few notes as I continue to ask around about deals which were on the table this weekend and could be revived when the freeze is lifted.

Is Lindback > Nabokov?

The Nashville Predators were reportedly getting major interest in goaltender Anders Lindback, who has looked "every bit a starting NHL goalie" in Pekka Rinne's absence, leading some to wonder.....

Who has the best goaltending tandem in the NHL? Boston, Nashville or ?

The Preds could use Lindback to attract a serious forward to bring scoring...which is needed for sure. The Capitals, Lighting and Devils are rumoured to be among the teams interested in Lindback...

On Montreal and Vancouver...

According to a few sources the Habs and Canucks were the closest to pulling of a deal last night and there is wide-spread belief the two sides could actually pull the trade together in short order once the freeze has been lifted.

That in and off itself is not very surprising since we have known of this for some time now the Habs have interest in Bieksa, however what is more surprising is the fact it appears there is a "much better than expected forward coming to Vancouver" as one source put it. Another source added, "The Canucks are also putting in a solid offensive prospect."

I will stay with this...

Finally, I review The NHL GameCenter App on the PS3.

much more to come....still talking Ottawa, Atlanta, Philly, Pitt, LA, Chicago, Dallas, Calgary, and Edmonton...

Also please welcome Bart Logan, our new CLB Blue Jackets writer. He is currently credentialed and has been covering the Blue Jackets for a number of online and radio outlets over the past three seasons. We are happy to have him here!

What's the Buzz?

1. Who has the best tandem between the pipes in hockey?
2. Preds fans, Rinne or Lindback?
3. Are Habs fans and Canucks fans willing to make a trade of this magnitude?
4. Having seen the reviews of iPad, Boxee, Roku, and PS3, which would you say is the best live streaming NHL option?
