Tonight's pre-season tilt will be the first tune-up and the beginning of a barometer to see who sticks and which rookie can handle the load.

I believe at this stage the only set line is Parise/Zajac/Kovalchuk thus the reason they are not playing tonight. Other notables out are Brodeur (typically does not play road pre-season games), Rolston, Tedenby, Volchenkov.

Here is the projected lineup;

Elias-Arnott-Langenbruner
Zubrus-Josefson-Clarkson
Letourneau-Leblond-Mills-Palmieri
Vasyunov-Mair-Nilson

Salvador-Greene
Urbom-Tallinder
Fraser-Corrente

Hedberg
McKenna

Zubrus/Josefson/Clarkson line is interesting and I would like to see Rolston there as an experiment.
I am surprised not to see Tedenby in there, perhaps he is another one the coaches are comfortable with.

I think the line with the most pressure is Vasyunov/Mair/Nilson as one of these guys may find themselves on the opening day roster after salary shedding.

Urbom/Tallinder is another pair I like what they bring and hope Urbom has a god showing.
