Dry on the news front. Im getting away with the family for a couple of days and I thought Id share Jared Ramsden's Top 20 update, he is the Devils correspondent for hockeysfuture.com (great site for prospect information, if you have never been I suggest you take a look at the job they do).
Jared recently gave us some thoughts about the prospects and on 8/5 he launched what he says "..easily the most daunting article of the year."

We have not had much buzz regarding our talent pool in a while (except for Parise) but we still have produced contributors to the club. Now we have the likes of Tedenby, Bergfors, Corrente, Josefson, Halischuk, Henrique, Cormier and a few others that have us excited about our young talent pool. Along with young guys like Parise, Zajac, Martin, Clarkson and others who are still young that I feel ok.
Here are a few of my thoughts:
I am excited about Tedenby. I think next year he will challenge for the top 3 lines in the Devils organization. Some say one of the fastest they have played against.
P.Cormier and Henrique, who along with Harry Young I believe are Devils-mold players and remind me of the likes of Madden, Pandolfo, White.
Josefson I dont have an opinion yet but have heard nothing but good things.
Bergfors. Many have grown impatient but I give him my patienceas he has been injured and is still young. Lets see how he takes being thrown in there. The job is his to lose.
Vasyunov and Zharkov - Ever since Mogilny I wish we had acquired another Russian scoring winger.
Halischuk I hope plays with Parise and Zajac in two seasons.
Im very excited about our prospects. Just my two pennies...
