Just a few notes as I cannot contain my hormones prior to tonight's Game 7
* Pressure is on Parise and Zajac to produce in game 7. They are up to the task, Parise was quoted:
"We'll find a way,"..."If it [were] a lack of effort, I could accept that. But I don't think it is. Travis and I have been playing as hard as we can."
* Speaking of pressure I was reading The Post's Mark Eversen article suggesting Captain Langenbrunner had surgery after Game 2!!! Yes, surprise to everyone, as usual the Devils are tight lipped but Surgery and back in a week??!! He also says will be better on the ice tonight. Wonder if the swelling is down but either way... way to lead by example!!!
* Lou Lamoriello WILL NOT be relieved of his duties. The had been reports that Vanderbeek has been looking for a replacement for Uncle Lou. Negative, the Devils are looking for someone to manage the Business Operations of the team and let Lou concentrate on the "hockey" operations. I like that, maybe well get a stud UFA.
The Rock will be packed, loud and ready for a game!
