Uncle Lou and the New Jersey Devils have heard the fans - Ticket Prices Slashed for next year!

News will be hitting the waves this weekend and the New Jersey Devils have, yet again, made a committment to their team and especially their fans.
New pricing will include discounts of up to roughly 45% off tickets and better ticket inventory, here are a few examples;

Yellows (center ice balcony above club)
This year - $100 at box office, $88 for season ticket holders
Next year - $85 at box office, $55 for season ticket holders

Aqua/Light Blue
This year - $95 at the box office, $68 for season ticket holders
Next Year - $56 at the box office, $39 for season ticket holders

Plumb/Lime Green
This year - $95 at the box office, $70 for season ticket holders
Next year - $79 at the box office, $49 for season ticket holders

$35 tickets uppers

They have comingled 17 different price points into many less making the ticket buying experience much easier and affordable.

According to my source "The Devils have listened to their fans and want to make it more affordable for the fans to attend games. The current economy has somthing to do with it but they also want as many fans at the game as possible. When Brodeur and Elias broke their record the atmosphere was amazing, like watching a game in Canada, and that was the icing on the cake."

Quite frankly, as a lifelong Devils fan I have received everything any sports fan would ever want from their team - except for that arena atmosphere and fan interaction, that may be about to change.

Geeze, where can you go watch a top notch team at a discount? Perhaps this may be a sign of things to come and teams around the league follow the lead.
