I will be busy with my 5 year old's birthday (Yes, Dante is a NJ Devils fan!) and his party, but I wanted to open a blog in honorof Marty. YES, I will watch the game!!!

Many many memorieshe has give us Devils fans. A "true" Devil, Marty avoids the limelight most of the time. Today, and over the course of the next few games, he will not be able to avoid the spotlight and the praise and attention that comes with it. In fact, he is on the verge of re-writing history and carry the torch St. Patrick Roy has has the honor of doing.
Oh, and there is alot leftin Mr. Brodeur's tank!

How appropriate being in Montreal, his hometown and a place where he has flourished, to tie the record and Mr. Roy in attendance. His career has been something of a storybook.

I would like to open this blog and invite everyone, both Devils and hockey fans all over, to share your memorable moments of Martin Brodeur.

I will follow next week with a tribute to the best goalie to ever put on the pads! (ofcourse I am biased!)
