Wednesday at 3:30 pm, members of the media have been called to a press conference, given by the Canadiens administration. It appears they plan to announce how they will celebrate the 100th year of the Montreal Canadiens.

Monday morning discussion...
What do you think some of the plans are?
Roy's number's going up this season, who else will have their number retired?
How will they tie the All-Star weekend into the celebrations?
How many ceremonies will Dick Irvin MC this season?
Will they name an all-time Canadiens roster?
Will intermissions be more entertaining than catching t-shirts from the jackasses crashing into the boards, on the ice?

Tonight the Habs play the Bruins in their first preseason action. According to the habsinsideout.com, Michael Ryder will be on a line with Milan Lucic, and Marc Savard.

Tomorrow night is a tilt with Buffalo, and then the Canadiens face the Red Wings on Wednesday, where it's anticipated that a very slender Price will make his debut.

Six games in seven nights, and then just about a week to get prepared for the first night in Buffalo, on October 10.

Impressive prospects at camp...Trotter's quite talented, Weber could be on this team in a year, Maxwell has skills, and Max Pac only needs slight sharpening before he sees the bright lights of the NHL.

Koivu's being given an easier ride this year. The injury to his foot is not too concerning for the Canadiens, but they certainly won't push the Captain to lay it on the line in preseason. As we get closer to next week, and the end of preseason games, expect the Captain to suit up and play with what should be a more trim roster. He could see action as early as Wednesday against the Wings.

Georges Laraque tweaked a groin, not much word on the severity of it, other than "it's minor". He should be fully operational soon enough.

Unsure if the game is televised tonight, but if it is I'm sure one of you will know...
Let us in on how to watch it!
