As I get t the office and do my usual daily reads, i stumbled upon a blog by Greg Wyshynski on Yahoo!Sports.
Rather entertaining but as a Devils fan a bit brutal.

Derek Felska's ranking criteria is fair and the results are quite disappointing if you are a Devils fan, we know we are better than that.
This comment by Wyshynski is where I want to base the point of my blog, and throw it back to the fans (both Devils and NHL in general) for discussion;
"There's never going to be a way to quantify how many Devils fans there are, but I've always felt there are more than attend the games. And I'd certainly encourage a reevaluation of the team's presence online, with no less than two independent fan communities thriving along with several rather entertaining blogs."
I have to agree with his thoughts that NJ has, no doubt, much more fans than is lead to believe just by looking at the attendance figures. As for online presence, the Devils have presence for sure but not at a Maple Leafs or Red Wings level.
So fans, what are your thoughts about this blog and some ideas we could implement to draw a bigger crowd that is reflective of our on-ice success?

As per Ek's blog; Could uncle Lou throw an offer sheet for Meszaros? I dont know about you but I would love to have a player of his caliber, dynamic and age on my backline.
With the glut of Dmen, our Cap situation and Lou never overpaying it doesnt jive UNLESS he has something up his sleeve.
Not sure this is Lou's style but this sure adds some excitement in the Devils camp and something to talk about.
