Could No Torts mean Prospal heads back to Tampa? Vinny?

Word is that Vinny Prospal is seriously considering a return to Tampa now that the coaching change has occurred. Although this may be good news for Tampa fans, I am always suspect of players that want back once a tough coach leaves town. I don't know the ins and outs of the two and their relationship, but it seams sort of soft to me...

The latest on the Vinny LeCavalier situation is that although all indications are pointing to him signing long term in Tampa, there may be some behind the scenes stuff going on. There may be a particular team, let's say a Eastern Canadien team, that may be asking their friends to ask their friends to see if Vinny likes them or not. So there's that. It isn't tampering if it is three removed, I guess.

I for one am so tired of this TAMPERING thing. Just let people talk to people after the season for crying out loud! Or at least two weeks prior to July 1. I mean seriously are we to believe that these major deals are cut in twenty minutes after noon on July 1? I had longer interviews for summer temp jobs in college that paid 5 bucks an hour and yet I am to believe that without even meeting these players teams are willing to throw 50 million at them? The whole thing is a sham. It is also blowing a great opportunity for the PR that would come with 'bring a Hossa to Madison Square Garden' and holding a presser where he says, "I liked what I saw here and will have to factor the personal experience into this rather major decision..."
