Didn't put it in the blog but also huge shoutout to PDG. Apparently his wife had a really tough pregnancy in and out of the hospital, so to get the goal must have been such a huge marker for him.

“It's been a battle for nine months for her. Obviously, with my job I've been away a lot, and she's been in the hospital a lot. We've had a lot of family coming in and out to support us. Like I said before, it takes a village. It's a blessing we got one. With how everything's gone and, obviously, a high-risk pregnancy, you never know. But thank God.”

“It's been crazy, but it's good emotions, I guess,” Di Giuseppe said. “Thank God, I scored.”

A really well balanced attack last night, as you said in the blog, probably their best game this series. There wasn't any prolonged times when the Canucks were stuck defending, as has been the case in the first few games.

Great recap again.

Will be interesting to see who the Oilers start next game.
Either way, I like our chances if we play like we did last night.

Great team win.

Great game, the fact that the team can thrive in these pressure cooker situations and not give up is the reason the Oilers are in danger of being eliminated. The Oilers by contrast have no answers and unless McDavid and Draisaitl play 30+ minutes and their PP scores a ton they have nothing.

I don't know if they eliminate the Oilers on Saturday, but I don't see them losing two in a row, and home ice matters a lot.

Thanks, Yorkie. That was a very exciting game and it's awesome to have it go our way!

Last game, the 3rd was exciting but then heart wrenching and frustrating.

That was a really fun and exciting game, thought the team was very focused.

Very impressed with how well Boeser played, he was fantastic defensively and to think, most of us, myself included, wanted both him and Miller traded.

IMO, this game felt more positive for the majority of the game. Still a nail biter, because McD can seemingly score at will, but they did a fantastic collective job of shutting him down.

It did feel better, but I was clenched the whole 3rd. Just had that feeling the Oilers would get 1 break and score despite all the Nucks pressure.

Would be nice if the Canucks won by more than a goal

This has unquestionably been the best series of the entire playoffs to this point. Super thin margins. I agree, I'd like to see a 5 point game from Petey tomorrow where they just blow them out.

Somehow Tocchet has made the right lineup decisions at every key moment all the way through the playoffs. Maybe it's the former player in him, his sense for who is going and who should be paired up is amazing.
