Zharkov is a one shot scorer (does Edmonton need any more of these?)

Pretty sure you can never have enough of those.

So annoyed that Schultz went there, only because the Edmonton Oilers are going to be rediculously good soon. Couple more peices and there a playoff team.

I dont understand the oils 2nd pick especially with Finn and Colburg still on the board.. And why not trade down!! for that reason alone I give them a B in this years draft which is better than the Flames C

This is why Schultz came aboard.

Playing with Hall/RNH/Yak/Eberle = inflated stats = $$$ one day. It's a smart move for the kid even if Edmonton never wins anything.

The way I see it: moroz was a late riser who had a good playoffs, and they got a little spooked he wouldn't be there at the beginning of the third. The hometown factor looms large here as well. I think it was less that they didn't like Finn/Colberg and more that they really liked moroz. They could have traded down though. I think they got 3rd round value out of their 2nd pick and 2nd round value out of the zharkov pick.

Not bad at all. Anaheim threw a spanner in the works though. Haha. Finn at 18 makes 35 seem really good. I was hoping during the draft (and i am no GM) the Caps would want Schenn for their picks. Take Forsberg and Gaunce or something like that.Probably why i'm not a GM eh?

He's at 58 on my list.

He's playing in Canadian High School hockey, not even American High School hockey. He's essentially playing against Junior B players.

I think most if not all BCHL/OJHL/AJHL teams would kick the ever living crap out of that league.

And that's without saying Jankowski is going to the USHL next year before the NCAA--- most kids who take this long route (Minnesota High School players)... very few actually turn out.
