It was Canucks management that didn't allow Gillis to buy out Luongo like he wanted to. The Schneider trade was in response to this. I believe out of anger....and...apparently stupidity...

Stupidity for sure. Now you have a goalie who is pissed off. The only saving grace is that he has been a class act thru all of this, and I can't see that changing. He is a team first guy. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't trade him. Gillis was just to stubborn to let him go for nothing. MacT traded Horcs when everyone said he couldn't. He got basically nothing in return, but he moved that money. Canucks management should have fired Gillis, not AV. Gillis is a tool.

At this point I completely agree...Sad day being a Canucks fan...but oh well I'll continue to cheer for them...I just don't care for Gillis or this current team right now... Gillis is fighting Feaster for the worst GM in the league

I'm thankful that Tambs is gone, he would be in that group. So far so good for MacT, but it's still early.
