Who says Schneider would have let in 3 of those goals?

He's a game changer.....in a different way that Luongo is

June 15: Boston 4 - Vancouver 0......even you...the genius that you are can probably see the problem here.....had Schneider let in 1 goal....and the Canucks have 0 still.....hmm.....let me see here.....do the Canucks still lose? OH RIGHT, YES THEY DO...

Teams play differently at different times depending on the score.

Maybe Schneider doesn't let anything in during the first 2 periods, and Kaberle feels the pressure in the 3rd and screws up....bam, you score and you win your first cup because the Bruins can't get it back.

Just because he wasn't in, doean't mean the outcome is the same.

Hell, the rest of the team probably plays with more confidence....maybe the sisters don't go a combined -8?

Oh, it's not completely useless......especially when it's that bad ina game that matters....and I'd say a one game playoff for a cup matters.

It's really not.....especially when one team gets a shut-out It gives you a rough grade about your defensive presence. In game 7 last year, Vancouver got an F. The twins got an F, and Luongo wasn't able to make up for dying on the limited ice time he earned in game 6.

Personally I think the main reason for that was the Hamhius injury, it hurt them in that series more than people realize...I'm not saying that would be a reason that they got shut out in the most important game of the year, but it surely didn't help...and Sedins could be shut down easier because much like this year, Kesler was injured...so Boston really only had to concern themselves with the twins, and when you have a mammoth like chara on the blue line, i'd say thats quite easy...Bottom line is Boston played better that series, they deserved to win, but they also ran into some insane luck on the injury front that 3 other teams in the playoffs did not have...I hope for this off season that Canucks are able to add some size to the blue line...

No, they arent, Sharks have never made it as far as the Canucks have, ever, its a dumb comparison...if they had done similar things in the regular season and playoffs, then I'd probably agree, but San Jose has never won back to back presidents trophy and gone to the 7th game of the finals...
- annoyance_101

um yes they are. So what if the canucks made it to game 7 and the sharks didn't, both teams choke every year when it matters. Winning back to back presidents trophy's and 0 cups is worse then the sharks not getting to the finals.

The Sharks haven't made it far enough to say they choke "when it matters" theres the difference... Not comparable

Conference finals isn't far enough for you? Every series matters in the playoffs... or don't you know that by now, seeing as you lost in the first round and are now playing golf, but I guess it didn't matter because its not the game 7 of the finals.

This year Canucks and Sharks can be compared quite well...but in their history, not a chance, Canucks have done more than the Sharks in their history...again...not comparable...

well using your logic, the canucks are not comparable to any other team because no other team has failed to win the Stanley Cup 3 times and won back to back Presidents' Trophy. Congratulations for being the model franchise at epic fail. You have surpassed the sharks in that regard and forever will future teams now be compared to the canucks level of fail.

They're the Buffalo Bills of the NHL.

Think about it, it's the perfect comparison. Right down to the missed field goal, with Luongo crapping the bed in clutch games.

Although the Canucks can more claim that title when they actually go to the Stanley cup four years in a row. They're not as good as the Buffalo Bills.

I'm not so sure its "loathe" as much as they are a joke.

The Bills, I would say, handled themselves with a lot more class than the Canucks do.
