I just want to list off the most likely impact player that could be moved for each team, and what you would offer up for them, or why you wouldn't want them, if you had the choice as your teams GM.

So For the Leafs:

ANA - Beauchemin - No interest, too crowded ont he blue-line already
BOS - Thomas - (Only because of recent rumors). No interest, not because he is not a fantastic goalie, but we would have to pay a premium for him and he will not be around when we become a contender
BUF - Roy - No interest, another 1b/2 center that wouldn't be a great fit on our top line. Plus we already have one sabre in Connolly
CAR - Ruutu - Huge interest, would play the PWF position to a tee. Can see this one being tricky as we need to send back salary. They have 3 D set to be UFAs at the end of this year, so I am shipping back Komi in the trade, as they can afford him for 2 years, and then I'll add in Frattin + 2nd for the soon to be UFA.

Someone finish this off to me, have to run to a meeting....

Didn't beauchemin just sign an extension in Anaheim? I can't see him being traded.

Yea, but people keep mentioning him in rumors, so I'm just going off of that.. Plus seems more likely he gets moved than Ryan or Getz

BUF - Roy - another 1b/2 center

Sounds like a fit for Calgary, we love Centres as long as they're not a true #1.

It would kind of hurt the ducks reputation to sign a player to an extension and than trade him before it even kicks in. Other players would notice that sort of thing.

Thomas won't get moved until the summer.

Beauchemin just re-signed in Anaheim. That actually means Anahemi much more likely will move Visnovsky. Jason Blake will get traded by the Ducks as well.

I think Jeff Carter could very well be moved. Hemsky definitely goes from Edmonton.

The Habs will trade Hal Gill.

Correct on all fronts, and Doan might be moved since he is UFA and has been through hell with this organization.

Anybody want to take a long shot on Bryz in Philly or Bobby Luoooooooo

I think the Oilers need to add Carter to get the second line built, as they lack secondary scoring and a legit second line. For the Oilers the rebuild won't bring them everything, they'll need to add by trade and free agency as well.

No more money on forwards! If we spend, they either have to be Ryan Joneses, or solid dmen (or goaltending).

They should make every effort to sign Scrivens.

Yeah, I don't exactly understand the deal to get Scriv if we don't re-sign him.
