Tell me what makes you think that toronto is light years ahead ,we can beat the leafs just as toronto can beat us .Your team stuggles against the higher ranked teams as do we ,we can beat the lower ranked teams just like toronto.

i don't think they are "horrid". They are a team in transition with a bunch of young players getting their feet wet in the nhl. there are going to be alot of learning mistakes made and their offense is reliant on 3 maybe 4 players which isn't sustainable over 82 games. i think they will compete pretty consitently for most games but will undoubtly have their blowups like we've seen already this year.

Its a bottom 5 team at the start of a rebuild. they are expected to lose, and i would say they have exceeded some expectations over the first 9 games.

There are 7 teams currently with lower PP% than the Senators, so they are not doing as badly as you wish they were.
