Thank you for my making my point don't you think that you can't find examples means this it's less likely for condon to succeed ?

Most successful NHL goalies that went to college usually leave after 3rd year, and spend time in the ahl and still manage to see NHL action before 24.

Edit: and condon didn't start college till a year after most (19). GUys like Schneider and miller didn't wait till 19yr old to go to college

Edit 2.0: only example I can find of goalie 4 yrs of college so far is Curtis mcelhinney which is hilarious ironic and he made NHL debut before debut before 26

I really believe Andrew Hammond is the best comparable. He went to University for 4 years, had a fluke 20ish game run after finally making the nhl at ~26 and then over the next 2 years slowly came crashing back down to earth.

Condon is more Andrew Hammond than anyone else.

Name another goaltender, who completed his four years at University, and stepped right into the NHL.

Don't use Ken Dryden as an example, as he only attended Cornell University for two years, and debuted with the Canadiens at age 24.

Well Jonathan Quick spent 2 years in NCAA, then one year in the AHL, a half and half year, then was full time at 22.

Connor Hellebuyck made the jump at 23.

Cory Schneider was a backup at 24, starter at 27. Probably would have been a starter earlier if not for Luongo.

Ryan Miller was a starter at 25. So was Jimmy Howard.

Yeah, you can't really just say "they don't count because they didn't spend the whole 4 years in college". They left because they were ready for a full time professional hockey career. The fact that Condon was not ready at that time, and clearly not for a few years after, is hardly a defense.

One of the better blue and white comments.

Kadri 25 years old (will be 26 by season start) 6' and 192 lbs had 17 goals, 28 assists and 48 points. He was minus (15) on the season.

ZBad 23 years old (does not have next birthday until near end of season) 6'2" and 222 lbs. had 21 goals, 30 assists and 51 points. He was minus (2) on the season.

Now tell us again, how do Sens fans misunderstand which is the better asset?

Everybody loves Leafs summer chatter.

Go big blue.
We love you
We know we are due
Don't want to feel blue
So, we'll take on a new hue
We can pretend were not screwed!

Comdon:

Beginning of the season to Jan 21
.921
2.29
13-7-3

Jan 22 to the end of the season
.904
2.74
6-7-3

Comdom had a fluke 20ish game run to start the season. Kept the sens season alive while Anderson was out. The back half of the season is when the real Kondon showed up, putting up the same stats he did for 55 games in Montreal.

$2.5M for 3 years. what a huge mistake.
