The slowest most boring hockey game I have ever seen. Watch the Dallas/Vegas series and then flip to this nonsense. You would have no idea the Leafs were down 3-1, looked like a preseason game.

Licking wounds today.

Plus, we did most of our complaining in the previous blog...

Agreed. Last night neither team wanted to make a mistake.

I think the ice was a part in the sloppy play last night. The West series in general have been quite a bit more wide open.

Yeah they have no excuse to not have the ice ready for a playoff game but you could tell it was off. By the third period, the AC in the garden was on full tilt.

My sister was using the rally towels as a blanket.

So Murph's got a fresh doozie of Draisaitl wanting to come here. I'm all for a straight up for Pasta. We get a true 1C who scores essentially the same as Pasta and we get rid of the turnover machine.

With an extension in place that would be an interesting deal. Could you imagine McDavid with Pasta. Just nasty stuff.

I think I would miss Pasta too much. Plus I doubt he would waive his NMC to go to the Oilhorse.

The ice is also no excuse for essentially not playing hockey for 45 minutes either. The ice had absolutely nothing to do with it. They have absolutely no killer instinct. Same thing last post season and shown all season long with giving up late game tying/winning goals over and over again.

Yeah, I would actually miss him too but good lord he frustrates the he'll out of me with his weak ass backhand pass attempts at the most egregious ice positions.

I would be mad about turnovers, but to be honest the entire game other than about 5 non-consecutive minutes of it was a giant poopshow. The only player to show up was Swayman (who better get the start next game)

If Leon is interested in signing here then you don’t need to trade your best player to get him.

Pasta, Kucherov, draisaitl, Mcdavid, Barzal, McKinnon all lead the league in give aways. Why? Because their teams rely on them pretty heavily to create offense.

Edit: Pasta did have a few lazy ones last night that drove me crazy too so i do get what your saying.

Debatable. It looked like the Bruins were attempting to skate with clown shoes on.

I have no real issue with turnovers "in the heat of it" but the lazy ones with him happen WAY too often.

And he hasn't exactly been stellar on offense. Sure he has 4 points - but so do a lot of other players getting paid a lot less.

He needs to step it up.

great wrtie up Ty, good breakdown of everything ... but..

it felt like Grzelcyk was absolutely in his own head.

no, thats who he is, he's proven it. Playoff after freaking playoff, he is what he is.

more like reading their own press clippings and feeling like the game was theirs while forgetting they still have to win it.

also, only one powerplay? not blaming refs, i'll blame the bruins, if they skated harder, made more effort, force the leafs to do stupid stuff, maybe the PP unit could have made a difference, but with only one powerplay, hard to blame them for not scoring.

I have been saying this all year. Confident Gryz is very solid. Taking him in and out of the lineup wrecks his confidence and he overthinks.

Let’s not give a pass to Mcavoy and Coyle who just stared at that play last night.

Yeah, multiple Bruins doing frank-all on that winning goal.
Well, they were doing something. They were watching it happen.
