Sheldon Keefe, next Baby Pens coach? (Not rooting for it, just expecting him to be available.)

They could hire Jessica Campbell from the Coachella Valley Firebirds (Kraken AHL team) and SJWRW would be delighted.

This always comes with GM changes. Will be interesting to see who comes in, given we finally have a couple young guys in the system it is all the more important we have someone who can help guys turn the corner and become productive NHLers.

But yeah, Sully is still there... I don't for one second buy the trade rumor of Sully going to NJ but I'd sure be happy if he did.

Sully & Graves for Bastian?

I think TO extends their series another game. Maybe Dallas gets another win too, but I could see the others getting wrapped up 4-1. 1st round has been a dud this year.

May have to eat some salary to trade either Graves or Jarry.

I'd be fine if they packaged Sully and either of them for nothing. But I'd not want Sully in the division.

2025 = $10,903,000 for Marner then he can walk

Not sure how Crosby would feel about Jake being too expensive then this kid showing up gobbling cap space.

Hahaha....yes, this year's Art Ross winner, a guy who averages 1.13 points per game in the playoffs is a fraud.

Harkins isn't though, right?

Poulin resigned for two more years at 750k....one way contract. Meh. Though I'm not convinced yet that he's a NHL regular, the potential is there to be a bottom 6 guy and at only league minimum, if it's not working out, he won't be hard to bury.

I think Sid would love to have a player of that calibre added to the roster. I think he would be a professional and continue to work hard and do Sid things.

I think if they did trade for Marner he would be paired with Malkin and Bunting.

LW FA - Crosby - Rust
Bunting - Malkin - Marner
DOC - Eller - Puustinen
Gruden - Ponomarev - FA

I do think Arvidsson could be a good signing. Interesting to see if his injury might cause him to take less money or less term.

One way just means salary is constant no matter where he plays, doesn't make him an NHLer.

And yes, I can definitely see TB as the new Wings.

I thought the same thing last night. Wings, Blackhawks, Pens....now the Bolts. Then I looked at the ages of most of the their team and it's not an old team at all. I could easily see them return as serious cup contenders next year after a long off-season.

They're not old, but they're not young. Kucherov, Stmakos, and Hedman will all be on the wrong side of 30 next year. I don't see their window necessarily shut, but it's closing fast, and I don't think they can still compete with top teams for 4 rounds.
