Ha ha, I was lurking there earlier. It's priceless entertainment when their fans totally implode! I saw one poster on their thread said the Nylander was scratched cause he couldn't find any hair conditioner. Yeah, I get your point though. We should talk.

-has too much power, has Hilferty’s ear, has say in personnel… too much
-so many buttons he could push, but he’s always pushing the giant red one, it’s his nature.

Gotta admit that I'm starting to sour on Torts. I don't want him to have power above coaching, and I'm afraid DB and Jonesy will be pushed over by the bully. I didn't like his last presser of the year at all. He was just very arrogant with the reporters that were asking fair questions and then he praised the Caps for the way they defended. I mean, for a game with that much on the line I thought that game with the Caps was a snoozer. My concerns are growing.

- torts will once again try to squeeze out more points next year. takes further away from acquiring top flight talent.

Briere needs to stand up to him as well. If Torts has Hilferty’s ear so be it. Danny, you need to make the moves that need to be made, including firing Thompson and booting Torts before the end of next season. If Jones or Hilferty overrule you, (frank) em, resign and go public with why. This organization is rancid and sunlight is the best disinfectant. Expose them for the backwards, incompetent bunch that they truly are.

That first point has always been my issue with hiring Torts. They’d be close to a top 5 pick otherwise. He was hired probably 2-3 years too early.
