I think the only shot the NHL has with getting the current owner out of Arizona for the future, if they decide to come back, is if some of the rumors as to lack of payments etc. are accurate. Board of Governors might step in, but then it will get really ugly between Merulo and the league.

From what they said on SXM this morning, most high revenue owners are pissed that they've been floating the coyotes for years and that dude walks away with 1.2bn. I know it's a shut him up payoff but Bettman needs to take the fall for this. Not sure how the owners can continue to let him screw the pooch with every turn in new exciting ways...

I think a funny thing would be the Rangers losing a wild one tonight, leaving the door open for the Canes to snatch all of those titles from them tomorrow, only for Carolina to mail it in and get blown out of the water by Columbus.

As soon as I tuned in to watch and cheer for a Carolina loss, they came back and beat first St. Louis and then Chicago.

Sounds like the Knicks will host their first playoff game on Saturday 4/20, which should mean the Rangers kick off their playoffs on Sunday 4/21
