Just outside of St Catharines in a little farm town called Jordan Station actually. Just no one has probably heard of it unless you've driven down the QEW and seen the burnt shipwreck on the shore of Lake Ontario. That's the town lol. - lemieux_66
Dude, I've lived in Niagara Falls since I was 1 year old!! Grew up in Chippawa, actually.
Jordan's nice. I took my daughter to pitching lessons at the Lion's Club park for years. |

Ha, nice! I spent a lot of my childhood at the Jordan arena and the ballpark there. |

If PITT sneaks into the playoffs they’ll be playing their best hockey of the season. Anything can happen once in and they still have Crosby playing at a very high level, could make a decent run if they get in. |

The sweet smell of validation!

Amen, Tony, Amen
Playing with Panarin definitely helps (shoot, he made Strome look like a stud sometimes), but I think Laf’s breakout is more than that. It’s not that simple. He’s become a driver of play, and he can strike quickly.
Keep building that swagger right through the playoffs! |

How many times is Remoe going to get his ass kicked? Dude is like 6’7” tall and has lost all but one of his fights! I like that the kid throws em, but damn, he’s looking at early dementia from the frequency and the amount of hits to his head.
Still love old time hockey, but be smart about it! |

He has to grow into his body, I bet he puts on another 25-30 lbs or so. Once he does that, not sure who’s guna be able to go toe to toe with him. Agreed though, he’s taking some monster shots early on in his career, can’t keep doing that. |

Watch Tampa passes Toronto. 7 teams in the mix Rangers could theoretically play in round 1.

a first round matchup with Pittsburgh scares me
Crosby is an absolute beast right now and they'd be really motivated because they still think they got shafted two years ago

People get upset about Kakko because he was 2oa. I get the disappointment, but he’s turning into a really, really strong role player. Role players are sometimes just as important as stars and I’d rather have him be that than a complete bust.
That third line has been playing great. Gonna need them to keep it rolling. Could be an X factor in a playoff matchup. |

Not sure I agree he's lost every fight but one
Matt Martin- W
Deslauriers- at minimum a draw but I give the W to Rempe
Olivier- Big L
Reaves- Draw
Macdermid- L but he handled himself decently well and got some shots in
(hockeyfights.com agrees with everything I am saying, too)
So two wins, two losses, and a draw. He has definitely taken his fair share of licks, no doubt. He's a young kid who is going to continue to learn how to fight with the best in the world. He's learning that he doesn't have to fight any time someone asks.....I am sure he'll get better at protecting himself, too.

My card had
Miller by tko
Goodrow and trouba win by decision
Vessey draw
Rempe loss by decision |

If we avoid Tampa and Pitt rd 1, I'm happy. Both those teams would be scary.
I'm hoping that the hottest team over the last 2 weeks fighting for the wildcard and division 3 spots gets the division 3 spot and plays Carolina. That, along with getting the #1 East seed, seems like our best bet to avoid playing the hottest team in rd 1 |

Pitt-Carolina would be something else because of Guentzel trade
it behooves Pittsburgh for Carolina to go as far as possible so they get a first rounder
good example of don't sell to a team you may actually play in the playoffs

Wildcard 2 is getting interesting - way out west
And 3rd in the Metro. Carolina tanking for one of those although, it could end up being Pittsburgh
