The Buzztron initially had the Wings winning just 2 of their last 17 games.

They have already won 3 or 4, and are now projected to win 4 more in their last 8.

What changed? One of the 14 secret factors I guess.

Big game tonight, Caitlin Clark shattering Chef Currys records and TV ratings. The eventual female goat and #22 like fellow elite sniper Cole Caufield.

Go Iowa! We are going to the ship!

New York Rangers or Dallas Stars are going to the cup finals - I have Dallas winning the cup atm. Add Carolina to these teams - my top 3 cup contenders.

Nashville will be a VERY difficult out in the first round. If they play VAN, they might win

Good catch. In the Buzztron universe, he says the Wings have 80 points. They finish 4-2-2 in their last 8. That's 10 more points. Should take them to 90 right? But the commentary says 91 and the standings say 89. Of course, the Wings are also the team that sometimes plays 81 games and sometimes 83. Classic Buzztron. I wonder if it's self aware?

4-4 last night. But call it 5-3 and chalk it up as another winning night.

Also, not sure why you say it's a 3 team race for the final spot, but then you omit Washington. It's conceivable that Philly hangs on to 3rd given their soft schedule and it ends up being Washington-Detroit fighting for the wildcard. Not my base case, but still a reasonable chance. More probable than notions like Minnesota is still eyeing the playoffs.
