Hey, I see why everyone follows my Tig Iginla mock draft pick for Calgary. Sometimes it is not so much upside as what this particular player adds at this particular time.
Sure his upside may not be as high as others but the the lunch pail and smarts are going to permeate the locker room.

Thanks for the heads up on that one Bill - it was worth the read.

My father in law is a jackets fan and excited about the younger players but kind of wondering at what point something other than disappointment will click.

And they don't have a lot of excuses at this point. Columbus isn't an undesirable place to be at this stage. They've done a lot of work to revitalize the down town and the suburbs are growing and really not a terrible place to be so it's not like they can't convince players to go there. I'd rather be in C Bus than STL or Philly thats for sure.

Hopefully they get their poop together. It's a fun stadium to see a game and the fans deserve it.

Thats somewhat facetious but I think those guys get jobs in the next 2 or 3 years. It wouldn't be a bad landing spot for Q with the amount of talent they have as well.

I think all the Jackets need to do is go after high priced free agents and trade some of their 1stv round picks for established NHL talent.

Cuz they put the Biz Lady with the dirty sneakers in charge of putting together the broadcast booths. The women has no idea what a good call is so being "hip" she hired folks with the most twitter followers. Her criteria was who has the most twitter followers.... Not her fault that she knows jack it's Danny Boy who gave her the responsibility.

Yea man, this is what a professional sounds like.

Hawks are hungry and flying like the game in LA. Taking away time and space, playing with pace, forwards getting back. Fun hockey for the fan.

Puzzling. Vosters might have a more tv friendly face but when you see them so sparingly in the broadcast who cares?

#84 sure is very noticeable tonight. LR needs to move him up with AA and Reichel, move Entwistle to the 4th line.

He competes, he rolls up his sleeves and works. So far he’s played like that in all his games. I wish Entwistle would watch him and apply himself the same way. I think Entwistle doesn’t play hard every shift.

Is the Weidemann move to tv permanent?
