Glad you and your daughter were able to make it to the game.

Thought the Rangers really controlled most aspects of the game with a few exceptions. Rempe's his was dirty and I actually expect the the league to give him 3 games. There was no real gray area on that hit and I think he is already on the radar.

the hit reminded me a lot of Matt Cooke on Ryan McDonagh in 2011

Rempe will figure it out. I was bummed last night as I was watching with my boys (10 and 8, finally into hockey!) and keep cheering Rempes story. If he doesn’t make that hit, momentum is pure gang busters into the third. It was a good teaching moment for my boys to say “see that elbow? Don’t do that” lol.

What he's saying is the penalties are usually too light. That was a brutal hit. Rempe stuck out his elbow to tag him in the head. No room for that poop in the NHL

I think like Jim said, that hit was very similar to Cooke on Mcdonagh. Cooke landed a 10 game regular season suspension for that. Plus playoffs. So it total it was 17 games. If Rempe gets 3 or less, take it and move on. (People arguing against it, not you.)

It should be 2-3 games. Dirty hit. No defending it. Why give him 5 when that’s not the precedent that’s been set previously?

Now if u want to say, starting next year and going forward, an elbow to the head like that is an automatic 5 games, be my guest. I don’t have an issue with that, it’s a dirty play and like u said, no room in the game for that.
