The Myers 5-3 penalty was the difference in that one, good close game. I thought Demko looked sharp. |

It was a pretty entertaining game, a few breakdowns and a goal because Juulsen blocked a shot with his back, causing a bit of running around.
Boys will bounce back next game. |

I would qualify it as a trap game between Boston and the Kings. I saw things the same as Tocchet. Vancouver outworked Pittsburgh in the first and deserved the 2-0 score. Then Pittsburgh made a game of it the rest of the way.
Big fan of Teddy Blueger, but I didn't think he played that well last. The first Pens goal was him and Tyler Myers getting beat on a board battle with Rakell. Don't see that often with him, he always works hard. |

I was only able to watch the third period, had to run down to the Mexican border to do some “Point of Entry” paperwork, game looked sloppy. Puck jumped over defenseman’s stick on the Penguins blueline, on the Pens third goal, just unlucky there. Ended up in the back of the Canucks net. |

Canucks were better overall, but they didn't play their best in the 3rd and OT. |

Love reading and hearing RT’s post game comments. He didn’t name names but those he left out were in the group that were sloppy. Mental and physical fatigue not an excuse paraphrasing now by RT. |

Despite the reg season record this club has struggled to hold leads all year and Demko to keep certain games to 2 goals or less. .500 team over their last ten could give us an indication how the remainder of the year will go. WPG and TO have a much better shot at a deep PO run at this point. Canucks have much to clean up so hoping Tocchet will address it all. |

Records since making the Elias Lindholm trade:
#Flames: 7-3-0
#Canucks: 5-5-2 The more Flames the Canucks trade for, the more they become like them. |

They have as good of a chance to win it all as anyone else. I don't hate any Canadian teams so I have nothing against you guys. However, Boston, Philly, and NY can burn in nuclear holocaust.

in mid-January, #Canucks were 26-0 when leading after 2. Now 5-1-3 (5 wins/4 losses) last nine times taking lead to third. That’s not a great trend
The good new is that the 31-1-3 Canucks have in slightly more than half the games they are leading after 2. |

Don't see it. Not this year anyways. The game vs Winnipeg was an indication of how playoffs will go for this club. Outmatched physically. Boston is another club that will have an early exit as well. Philly and the Rangers on the other hand could make some noise. |

Gonna get worse again once Petey is traded. |

The way I look at it is the pens are fighting for their lives to make the playoffs and the Canucks are a work in progress, we are going to see lots of this and we have to be ready and get that urgency back. It’s a long season. |

He forgot to mention that 10 million dollar Huberdeau is just over a point per game since Lindy’s not his center.
Thanks Alvin |

37 points in 58 games, could care less who the center is if you are making 10.5M a season. |

Just think if Treliving ran the Canucks. What would Petey’s next contract look like. |
