pretty cool to see those attendance numbers so far throughout the league, let's hope it keeps rolling that way

I said something like two weeks ago I felt Montréal was lucky with its record, that it didn't represent the way they played. I think yesterday, they got the result they deserved. You just can't go 0 for 6 on the power play and miss out on a 5 on 3. You can't be 1 on fracking 32 on the power play!

They don't play the right way. Too many passes (that miss on top of it), too many attempts at dekeing defensewomen... They try too much for the beauty play. Go dirty, dump it on, chase. More plays like Laura Stacey. They miss "dirty" players like her, a Gallagher style player.

Awesome attendance numbers for the women’s game that needs and deserves more exposure! Would love to see neutral site games in other cities so some of us without teams can support.

Got home late from work, so did not catch all the game.

First off, what an attendance record, way to go Toronto! I like how this league is picking up momentum.

One of the things I noticed last night is that there are some players a lot more comfortable playing the physical aspect of the game than others. Perhaps because of the new PWHL rules and the allowance of more physical play is something a lot of players need to learn.

In one aspect, I find it a lot more engaging, but because some players are still struggling with that, I also find it seems to slow down the game at times.

Overall, the games seem to be getting better (for the most part) as the season progresses.

Bang on, Cheverie kept saying in pregrame pressers that they always found a way to win and it bugged me, always scrapping by can’t be a good thing

Some of the players havent played physical since their co-ed days so i guess an adaptation period makes sense

I also find that they misread simple plays. The most glaring example was when they removed the goalie, the defense player tried to deke on the blue line... Like, whut?! Push it as far back from the line as you can, you are the last player! Don't take any chance! They also play pretty far apart in the defensive zone, they rarely have that quick short pass they can do to get out, they often have to go for a long pass, or cross-ice, which is more likely to fail and more dangerous in terms of interception. And shoot the puck once you get in the zone! Get in the crease, block the goalie's view, take the rebounds!

I'm honestly not impressed by their team play. And that power play, it's almost a fireable offense at this point! Go back to basics. Quick, short passes, dump and chase, shoot as much as you can and hope for rebounds. Time to get dirty!
