You guys have been saying Risto sucks forever, and he’s always been good. And he plays with passion. Something this team needs more of.

Henrique is not overrated, you just underrate defence. I don’t. I think it’s equally important as offence. So players need to be proficient in both. (Willy -3 lastnight) I really have no idea why you guys continue to overlook this critical flaw of his.

Moving on…

Brodie is done. He’s not the same player. Move that contract and get something in return if you can. Lilly will never be anything more than a bottom pair guy.

Zellweger will be a good defender, I’m always looking to the future. It’s how you build a dynasty team, not a one pump and dump.

Knies will continue to grow. He’s getting better. He goes to the dirty areas. I can see him becoming Hyman.

I HATE playing Gudas. I want the prik on my team. Laughton is NASTY, size and snot. You can slot him in the top 6 to keep the flies off too.

I really don’t mean to sound obtuse, but I think so many of you are copacetic and actually enjoy the pain of failure. You don’t know how to feel if they change, and become a legit contender. You rather piss and moan at the mean team that always beats us. THEY’RE TOO MEAN AND ITS NOT FAIR! essentially is what you’d all do. I say we embrace being heel, and bring back the type of hockey that gave me the PASSION in the first place.

Clarke beating the brakes off McSorely, and seeing the newspaper the next morning, is what cemented me as a Leaf fan for life.


PS. saying that lineup wouldn’t make the playoffs is really, realllllly dumb.

For the record, as a Flyers fan, I wanted Gudas and Boulerice suspended for life for what they did the Kessler and Perrault. You don't go after a player's head with your stick because you're mad.
