I actually think Jake Allen makes sense for the Flyers. They have no answer at the back up goalie position for this year or next. They can plug an org need now and possibly have Allen for the playoffs this year instead of shopping in the offseason for a similar goalie. However, I would not give up a ton as goalies just dont carry a ton of value in the trade market. Then Kolosov is ready to go for 2026.

That’s a lot of cap space. They can get Zegras to unite him with his friend Drysdale. Then they can get Jake Allen. Maybe they can get Pareyko too since he played with Jake. They must be friends. Then they can sign Konecny for $9 Mil/8 yrs. Losing Seeler, Laughton and Walker should be manageable.
