Trevor Neufeld: Schwindt Called Up: Flames-Blues Game Day

I wish that Ruzicka could get his consistency game together and contribute more.
The Flames have always had multiple players who have potential, but never quite reach it. Dube looks to be next on that list, and he's another guy I'm hoping to see work out for us.

Are either of them even worth anything as a piece in a larger trade? Does anyone else in the league think they can get something out of them?

I'm afraid that a waiver-wire pick-up by someone is the best outcome that we'd get, to help shed a bit of salary.

I'm excited to see Schwindt get a chance. It would be hilarious if he made an immediate impact (unlike Huberdeau).

It’s not looking very promising, both deleted their social media last summer. You have to wonder what’s going on. Let’s wait and see who’s next to ask for a leave. This has dragged on far too long.

Could be maneuvering to stay on paid leave instead of taking an unpaid suspension. That said, both can be true. Can’t imagine what it feels like to waiting this long for the hammer to fall. Here’s hoping he’s feeling better soon.

Really? In the same post that you're suggesting he's using mental health as a way to ensure he gets paid the rest of his contract you're hoping he feels better soon? There won't be an unpaid suspension unless there's evidence he was involved. Do you know what the allegations are?

If you sexually assaulted someone and lived consequence free for six years and became a millionaire, you deserve to feel bad for a while.

Yep. Entirely speculation. Personal opinion is that he’s been adamant about no involvement and I believe him. Just hoping he gets the help he needs to feel better.

I am finding that my foot tastes better the further I shove it down my mouth.

I think something is happening very soon in regards to trades. This close to a wild card and Conny is using a few callups. I get he wants to use youth but seems like he's checking out who can stay up with the big club after some moves are made.

Good point. I really like that we’ve seen so many prospects this year. We’ve had a top AHL team for many years, about time they get an opportunity.

Weegar bobbled the puck at the blueline but way before that Blues had many breakaway opportunities. It’s about to get exciting being a Flames fan, things are changing. Nashville sold off at last years deadline but really haven’t dropped at all in the standings, plus they picked up some much needed draft choices.
No moves til they get back from the break.
