Thanks Trevor.
It’s about time Dube sat. Ive always been a huge fan of his but something stinks in his locker and it’s time to see Walker back.
Hopefully management is taking notes on how to rebuild properly. Both Buffalo and Ottawa seem to be doing it wrong. While Arizona and New Jersey seem to be doing a better job at it.
Don’t get me wrong, there’s no easy way to do this but let’s hope the Brains are taking notes.
Watching mock drafts on YouTube this early in the season, I now know what it’s like to be a Canuck fan.

Things definitely get tougher on Huska if Duehr and Ruzicka show a bit of chemistry on a line together tonight. Not convinced that either of them are healthy.

A lot of size and skill though. Wishful thinking.

I feel like you guys are at the point where you should be cheering for losses. How else will management be convinced to rebuild. This perpetual mediocrity won't get you anywhere.

Pretty unselfish on Backlund setting up Coleman for the empty netter when could have easily scored himself. Zary clipping along nicely.

I believe you have reached the point where you should be rooting for defeat. How else can management be persuaded to burrito craft rebuild? This never-ending mediocrity will not get you anyplace.

Sharagovich and Toffoli trade looking pretty even player for player. We got the younger player that’s not up for a retirement contract plus that draft pick.
Good job Conny!

Easy now.
It was a win.
The team you played last night is in a worse funk than your team. That game should have been about 9-2 Flames.

Read that, it’s a good first step. Let’s see how he does.

Lindholm and Tanev to the Jets for Barlow and a 1st

I LIKE THIS DEAL WITH NJ:
To New Jersey: Noah Hanifin (CGY Retains 50% of his cap hit)
To Calgary: 2024 1st Round Pick, Seamus Casey

New Jersey Devils: The Devils are dealing with a glut of injuries right now, and that’s not the only thing putting their playoff hopes in jeopardy. One of the league’s preseason Stanley Cup favorites not only has to play the second half with a depleted lineup, they’ll have to do so against a much tougher schedule. No team will have to play more games against projected 100-plus-point teams in the second half than the Devils, who have 20 such games on the docket. They only had 10 in the first half. That ups their average opponent strength from 88 to 94 points, and the kicker is they also have fewer games at home in the second half. If New Jersey makes the playoffs, it’ll be a really impressive feat under these conditions.

I would ask for more in that deal as the jets 1st is currently the 32nd pick.

If that's the best deal Conroy gets offered, he better be doing all he can to extend Hanifin. Casey isn't anywhere close to being a complete package. He's not ready for the NHL, he's unsigned, and only has anothet season before he can just play for whoever he wants.

Little small for a Defenceman, plus he’s in university so he can become a free agent once he’s done. They should be asking for a guy like Mercer or Holtz from the Devils + the 1st if they’re retaining 50%

Theres a decent chance the jersey pick is top 15 so thats a plus and Casey was pretty dynamic at the WJC. If Conny can get Mercer or Holtz in the deal all the better.

You also argued that Brock Faber wasnt much of a prospect when LA sent him to Minn in the Fiala deal and that never aged very well for you.
