McAvoy seems to have regressed this season. He's not the same player he was for the previous 5 seasons.

Freddy's on fire and looks like Jake has finally gotten out of the doldrums. Great to see Poitras get the two helpers in his first game back. Hopefully that should bolster his confidence.  |

Bruins getting outshot again. What a surprise...
I hope they don't do something stupid and trade away a bunch of assets for a quick fix this year. This team is way too inconsistent to "go for it" in the playoffs.

Why the FK do they keep giving DeBrusk chances while Marchand is sitting on the bench during shootout?
At this point Trent would be a better choice than DeBrusk. Does Jake even know he is in a contract year?

Shootout made very little sense to me. Pastas attempt was surprisingly lackluster. Otherwise they got outplayed 5v5. Swayman had an unbelievable game to get them a point. Nail biter in OT. AVS deserved this one. |

Debrusk is easily the best shootout taker on the team and i don’t think it’s close. I wouldn’t be surprised if his shootout percentage doubles Marchands.
It’s probably the only thing he has going for him this year.

It was fun. Was great to see the younger lineup live. Fourth line was actually my favorite tonight. Beecher and lauko were noticeable. But swayman and McAvoy were the rockstars. Regulation loss without them tonight dq |
