I am wondering if the pace has not caught up to Zary and Posposil.

Good to have Kylington back on skates in the AHL. And with a top contending team, at that.

Zary and Posposil still make some very good plays out there when off the puck or pursuing it. I'm far more worried about Dube.

A win tonight could put the team in that spot. Arizona plays NYI tonight and could finish the day 5 up. And Minnesota could win, and Flames lose would put a 5th team between them and the final wild card sport. Or Arizona would lose, Flames win, Kraken win and the Flames are still 2 points back with more games played and 4 teams between them and the final spot.

I would love to see the Flames' defence move the puck in to what are often open lanes.

Weeger seems to have been doing so with reasonable success.

Shots from the point are lower percentage especially when you fail to consistently screen the goalie which for some reason the Flames do not consistently do.

Lucky for this team when one line start to cool off there is another that picks up the slack.

Dube has fizzled out. He is a prime candidate for a fresh start somewhere else, but until they release the findings he is probably not tradable.

Speaking of that court case, do we have a date that they plan to release that time bomb?

Well maybe the anticipation of the names being released is what’s driving his downward spiral. Only speculation, but somethings up, he’s a shell of his former self.

Kylingtons back is great news for Conroy, now trade Hanifin to Dallas for Stankoven and a first.

Flames are in a tough spot, too good to make wholesale changes but not good enough to compete with the big boys. We’ve won nothing with this core, it’s time to make some changes.

Good post K man, this is off topic but I saw this trade rumor with the Rangers, Flames sending Tanev and Poposil to the Rangers for Kakko, Schneider and a 2nd rounder

I saw the link on FB, in a perfect world if I was Conroy take it but Tanev is a pending UFA

I know you're not the sharpest peanut in the turd, but even you should be able to figure out cap gymnastics. The Rangers have 112k in cap space. Even with max retention they cannot afford that deal, and no one is giving up 2 1sts and a 2nd for Tanev and "Poposil" nor Pospisil.

She came out with the unwritten rules of hockey, then the
Oilers continued to suck and poof she was gone. She’ll be back once they get into a playoff position.
Maybe Trevor can write a couple subtle barbs about the Oilers, that always seems to wake her up.
