Yeah, good to spread the scoring around. Bodes well if they make it to the postseason.

Their 1/2 line teams have been shut down in recent years.

I know he has scoring pop. Is he defensively responsible? The team defense still needs work. Without Swayman and Ullmark this team would be toast. Also he's a bit a of suitcase, is this guy bad in the locker room or something?

Pass on Duclair. I dont think he is a headcase (then again, not entirely sure either), but he is a peripheral player. He will only produce in similar circumstances that DeBrusk does, when you put him with better players. I really dont think he is what the team needs at this point.

Having said that, if Sweeney decides not to go after big fish at the deadline, a player like Duclair might be an ok depth option as a rental for the playoff push. There are players I would pick before him though.

Not liking the comments from Poitras after the return from Sweden. Sounds like what was intended to be a boost for his confidence did just the opposite. That STUPID OHL rule sucks! Providence should be an option to help develop his game.

It is what it is at this point. No way the Bruin's brass could have know this was going to be the result. Really sucks for him, but I am hoping Monty can get him going again.

Kid is going to just have to learn to grow through it unfortunately.

Ill be in Denver for Monday's tilt against the Avs. I am hoping to get my first look at Poitras in game action. We will see if Monty thinks he is ready by then.

This is usually the rule with young players. Especially when they make the jump like Poitras has. They're not all built like Bergeron.

Oh no doubt the kid has the skills...but he's still a boy playing in a man's league (playing well I might add). He definitely needs to get stronger and bulk up some or he is going to continue being pushed around. That is why the AHL would be perfect at this point with a call up later in the season. But, as has been said...it is what it is. I just hope his confidence isn't too broken.

Agreed but with the amount of skating guys do now and with playing, that's an offseason goal. He'll need to make due remainder of the year.

Never liked that rule. Wish it was different especially as we see more and more young players cracking their respective big clubs.

Me too. Avs are a good team. Always had a soft spot for them for getting Bourque his cup. Hoping for a great game and a Bruins W.
