Super informative. So who’s breaking the Kuzmenko trade?

Anyway another tough loss as Canucks tread water in 3rd place for rest of December. It is what it is a good start but not a good enough team yet. At least that’s what Carol said on the Hockey News.

On Kuz he is very slow on the forecheck & not great on the back check. Don’t see him engaged out there. Wingers have to engage or they simply disappear. Floating doesn’t fly.

I am assuming post-game blogs would be better than game-day blogs? Ie Is it a better place to discuss before the game on a new comment section, or the next day?

Thank you NYN...in my eyes a consistent blog is what I would want. This was a great kick-off to a new (hopefully) era

Doesn't matter, as long as it's not ass-face from Boston doing a quick copy & paste every 10-14 days or after bad news.

An update that Willander Lekkermanki and Dpetey have all made Team Sweden. Now there is a reason to watch the tournament.

I would post a new blog right around the time when you see Booner and Loadie going at each other over fishing gear or style of fishing or did he say it publicly debates. That is a good indication that it is time for a new blog. So every other day.

Kuzmenko was in the right places last night but needed to shoot the puck. That is a confidence issue. He is slow but slow works if you get to the tough areas. I hope he can turn it around as he is a good team mate.

Frankly Petterson isn't where he should be. He is floating around and then tries a hit every now and again to make up for it. He has elite skill which gets him through, but his level drop is basically the same level drop as Kuzy's. Also Mik went to the fourth line so the old top line is in shambles and I blame Petterson. He is suppose to carry that line but is too busy making Blue steel faces.

NJD looked really fast. I didn't think we were a slow team but they made everyone look slow. Oddly enough Boeser is looking fast and shifty.

Best game of the season for Dakota Joshua. He actually has great 200ft ice positioning and his vision has improved alot.
Myers was terrible (again).

Flying outta the gate & sputtering mightily now. RT had the system needed to get success but something has gone off the tracks.

What in your opinions?

Myers is the biggest issue. We were winning when he was playing less than 15 a night and our D could support that. The moment he is playing 18+ again, we start loing/having really bad games.

Kuz is a shooter & he’s wheeling too much. Has to either shoot or pass quickly.

Petey is not driving play in the slightest. Perimeter play & sloppy puck handling & passing.

Mik demoted to find someone to get Petey going. It’s not realistic.

NJD is the fastest team in the league & constantly moving & pushing the pressure. Canucks kept losing players trying to react rather than man on man keeping play to the outside. After the banging start they constantly gave up too much space for NJD to wheel around.

Boeser has looked great in all facets of the game & has been very consistent.

Roster needs more trades to shake up the roster design. Expecting more call ups eg Bains.

Referencing break outs? He really sucks under pressure. Cole has really struggled on the PK. Seems he cannot clear the puck if his life depended on it. Far too often D lets ops stand around in the crease area.

He only played less than 15 twice. Most of their games he played his usual 18+ minutes.

He was the only player to finish + last night at +2. Kuz the only player as low as -3.

Let's hope Hogs starts the next game on Miller's line.

That was a big lesson for Zadarov last night.

If Myers is on the ice and you think you should be safe, you are not.
